The Gospel of John 43 Leave her alone. She has kept this for the day of My burial. 8 For you always have the poor with you but you do not always have Me. The Plot to Kill Lazarus 9 Then a large crowd of the Jews learned that He was there. They came not only because of Jesus but also to see Lazarus whom He had raised from the dead. 10 However the chief priests decided to kill Lazarus too 11 because he was the reason many of the Jews were falling away and believing in Jesus. The Triumphal Entry 12 The next day a large crowd that had come to the festival when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem 13 took palm branches and went out to meet Him. And they shouted Hosanna Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord The King of Israel 14 Now Jesus found a young donkey and mounted it just as it is written 15 Fear no more Daughter of Zion See your King is coming Sitting on a donkeys colt 16 Yet His disciples did not understand these things at first. However when Jesus was glorified then they remembered that these things had been written about Him and that they had done these things to Him. 17 So the crowd that had been with Him when He called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead continued to testify. 18 That is also why the crowd met Him because they heard that He had performed this miraculous sign. 19 Then the Pharisees said to one another You see that youre accomplishing absolutely nothing Look the world has gone after Him Greeks Seeking Jesus 20 Now there were some Greeks among those who went up to worship at the festival. 21 So these men came to Philip who was from Bethsaida in Galilee and made this request of him
